My Fair Lady
We all know that Jeremy's wonderful singing voice was dubbed over in the film. But i was wondering, was a recording made of the songs in which it was Jeremy singing? Or is it one of those cases of what might have been ?

If his voice was dubbed then it was first recorded... From what I know, he wasn't lip-synching to the other voice. He actually sang it but when the film was released his voice had been "replaced". In that case, there must be a recording of him singing them somewhere... In the archives perhaps!

I have never seen My Fair Lady, so I'm afraid I couldn't really say. But yes, if his voice was dubbed then he must have recorded it too... especially as he himself was surprised to hear it was not his own singing.
Re: My Fair Lady
I'm sure he felt very upset when he knew his voice was going to be dubbed, just like Audrey Hepburn, who was very angry about that. But fortunately in her case some recordings with her original voice can be heard.
It would be great to hear Jeremy singing "In the street where you live", can you imagine that? I do!
