Plays You Would Have Wanted To See Empty Plays You Would Have Wanted To See

I would love to have seen Jeremy play Hamlet on stage. That would have been lovely. Macbeth thankfully we have on film, but it would have been thrilling to have watched him on stage. It goes without saying Secret of Sherlock Holmes would have been a must see !! But i was wondering what plays everyone woould have wanted to see Jeremy perform on stage ?

"Hamlet" and "The Tempest" would be my first choices of answers to your question. "Hamlet", because it's such a classic, and I'm sure he was wonderful. "The Tempest" because he wrote it, directed it, and appeared in it, and also because the photos from it I have seen look very good... Oh but, we musn't forget "Dracula" now, must we?! Evil or Very Mad

Yes he did all of the "hard work" on that particular version of "The Tempest". Later he said it was very hard, and that it took a lot of his energy. If I'm not mistaken I think he also mentioned not wanting to really go down that particular street again, but I may be mistaken.

Hamlet, of course...

Tartuffe--I'm sure he was wonderful in the role of Valere--and I love the play (never seen it performed, though)

And Euripides' Bacchae would have been interesting to see as well Smile

I had no idea he did a stage version of Sherlock Holmes until I saw the photos on the Facebook page! I would have given anything to see it. I don't suppose there are any recordings available?

Hamlet is another I'd have loved to see.

Kitty, my love, the nearest you will get to a recording of "The Secret of Sherlock Holmes" are the few excerpts posted on YouTube.
