"Attaching" forum to website

At the moment, this forum is, as you can see, hosted on the Forumotion server. However we would like to attach it to our BAFTA 4 JB website. It is ongoing, and we will let you know once it has taken place.

It's one thing to figure out the problems with the CNAME configuration with regards to forumotion. But is it worth it? I mean, surely an attached forum would take up too much room on your website hosting server. (?)
